Ok this riddim was based on a track from German trumpeter Bert Kaempfert ,from the early 60s ,and Lester Sterling covered it at 1967 at Studio One ,thus forming this famous riddim.
Barrington Levy unearthed this track and use the riddim at his huge hit Under Mi Sensi at 1985 ,although it was used again before at the rub-a-dub era in some tracks,although Levy's track was the first big hit on the riddim.
